How the MYGA calculator works
Your premium earns the guaranteed rate, compounded annually, for the full term you select. Because the rate is locked in at purchase, your ending value is known up front. Withdrawals before the end of the term may be subject to surrender charges, and any gains are tax-deferred until withdrawn.
